DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure that the clerical duties assigned to the staff at the Front Desk Office are diligently carried out. This includes answering telephones, routing calls, taking messages, greeting visitors and patients, handling correspondence, scheduling appointments and dealing with book-keeping and billing tasks.
  • The staff members also take payments and make outbound calls to remind patients of upcoming appointments. In general, the Front Desk staff work to keep the hospital medical office running efficiently by keeping everything organized and handling transactions and paperwork in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Billing
  • Performs task required to ensure the timely and accurate submission of billings for insurance.
  • Claims to all third party payers and documents billing activity in the patients’ accounting system.
  • Responsible for billings and collections from customers and patients in a timely manner.
  • Documents all billing activity on the patient’s account.
  • Ensures hospital compliance with all statutory billing regulations.
  • Reviews any error reports from payers; identifies errors and makes appropriate corrections to ensure accurate claim submission.
  • Monitors claim rejections for trends and issues and report the findings to your Head of Department.
  • Reviews all claims for accuracy.
  • Coordinates medical record requests as needed.
  • Submit monthly departmental report to your Head of Department.
  • Works with supervision, management and the patient accounting staff to improve processes, increase accuracy, create efficiencies and achieve the overall goals of the department.

To drive and develop by implementing marketing plan and strategy to meet overall hospital’s goals. Assessing strategic partnership opportunities for patient volume projection by coordinating and executing marketing activities and public awareness programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend to enquires with regards to hospital service and facilities Assist and coordinate public awareness events organized by the hospital to create health awareness.

  • Ensure all folders are correctly filed and stored to maintain confidentiality and security at all times
