We are pleased to welcome Dr John Mark Jesudason, as our new Resident Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon at Sungai Long Specialist Hospital starting 1 October 2026.
Dr John Mark is an experienced Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with extensive expertise across a broad range of elective and emergency surgical conditions with a particular emphasis on minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques.
His areas of practice encompass some of the following :
- Acute and Trauma Care
- Colorectal Surgery
- Gallbladder surgery and hepatobiliary surgery
- Gastrointestinal surgery
- Breast and Thyroid Surgery
- Dialysis and Vascular Access Surgery (Laparoscopic Tenckhoff Catheter insertion and Salvage, Chemoport insertion)
- Repair of abdominal /groin hernias
- Excision of soft tissue tumours / lesions
